Job summary

InterMed is seeking a Clinical Care Representative to provide nurse-led triage and patient guidance over the phone in a fast-paced call center.

The CCR uses written protocols and clinical judgement to determine urgency, schedule appointments, and direct callers to care as needed, aiming to reduce unnecessary visits while delivering self-care information. Remote work is possible, with mandatory in-person training and in-person support when tech issues prevent remote work.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as an RN or LPN in Maine (unencumbered).
• Experience in primary care or hospital setting.
• Triage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and patient messages in a fast-paced call center.
• Provide triage and determine appropriate care pathways.
• Deliver test results and refill prescriptions per protocol.
• Schedule routine appointments and manage administrative tasks.
