Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist to join the L&D team on the Day shift. Under RN guidance, you assist in maternity care and surgical services, providing patient support, data collection and documentation.

Candidates should have a Surgical Technologist trade school degree or LPN, plus BLS within 90 days and at least 1 year OB/OR experience as CST preferred. This is a PRN/flexi role with day shift.

Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist trade school or LPN degree required.
• BLS certification within 90 days.
• 1 year OB/OR/Surgical Technologist experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care and surgical services in maternity services.
• Provide patient comfort, hygiene, data collection and documentation.
• Follow operating room and obstetrical practice standards.
