Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, seeks an Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist to join the High Risk Labor & Delivery team. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, day shift, with guidance from Registered Nurses and a focus on patient comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate has an LPN diploma or Associate's degree in Surgical Technology, plus licensure as LPN or certification as a Surgical Technologist, and at least 1 year of related experience, preferably supporting OB/GYN

Qualifications

• Assists with nursing care and surgical services in maternity services area.
• Under RN supervision, performs tasks within scope of education and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care and surgical services for maternity patients.
• Provide comfort, hygiene, data collection and documentation as part of patient care.
