Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations and verification of patient appointments with correct MD, modality, equipment and studies.
• Performs pre-certification tasks prior to services and updates/reflex referrals in the system.
• Handles insurance authorizations and communicates clearly with patients.
• Provides post-op follow-up calls to clarify instructions and answer questions.
• Educates patients about procedures and medications.
