Women’s Care PC in the United States seeks a Medical Assistant to support OB/GYN and primary care teams. You will prepare patients, assist providers during exams and procedures, and help with patient education and room readiness.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification, and CMA preferred or ability to obtain within 120 days. Experience in fast-paced clinics and proficiency with EMR systems (preferably eCW) are valued.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred or ability to obtain within 120 days of employment.
• CPR and/or BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment via training.
• Experience in OBGYN or Primary Care is a plus.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and administer injections, if applicable.
• Ability to perform dosage calculations and measurement conversions.
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and patients.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in entering data in electronic medical records (preferably eCW).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatment, procedures, examinations, and testing.
• Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area and all other patient care areas per policies.
• Record patients' medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint.
• Measure, record, and document vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections and other specimen collection as directed by the provider.
• Educate patients with information and instructions as directed by the provider.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and regulations.
• Sterilize medical instruments per standards and procedures.
• Relay messages from patients and front office staff to providers.
• Represent the office in a professional manner to customers, internal and external.
• Participate in team activities and professional development.
• Attend required meetings.
• Demonstrate and embody Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with HIPAA rules and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
