Job summary

Effingham Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join the expanding medical team in Effingham, IL. You will capture patient history, prepare exam rooms, and support clinical operations to ensure quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has CMA/RMA credentials (CNA considered) and familiarity with EMR systems, with a focus on accurate documentation and compassionate patient interaction.

Qualifications

• CMA or RMA preferred; CNA considered.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• EMR experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient health history and enter into EMR.
• Set up exam room and ensure cleanliness for visits.
• Take vitals and perform basic preliminary assessments.
• Administer injections as needed.
• Assist the physician and support patient education.
