Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant for our OB/GYN practice in Urbana, IL. This role supports providers during exams and procedures, manages patient flow, and performs administrative duties to ensure a welcoming, efficient environment for all stages of gynecologic care.

Qualifications include BLS, CMA/RMA credentials (NCCT, AAMA, AMT, NAHP, NHA), and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required from American Heart Association.
• Valid CMA/RMA certifications listed (AAH, NCCT, AAMA, AMT, NAHP, NHA).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and collecting chief complaints, histories and med reconciliation.
• Handle telephone communications with patients, families, pharmacies and other facilities.
• Gather and maintain patient information per department processes.
