Job summary

Infor is seeking a Medical Assistant/LPN in Michigan to perform a mix of clinical and administrative duties under provider supervision. You will greet patients, record vitals, collect histories, prepare for exams, and assist the provider while maintaining accurate EMR records and efficient clinic flow.

The role requires BLS within 3 months of hire, and either Medical Assistant certification or LPN licensure in Michigan. Prior medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant or LPN licensure in Michigan.
• Experience in a medical office or similar setting.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for examinations.
• Record vital signs, height/weight, and medical/med histories.
• Document information in the EMR and forward records as needed.
• Assist provider and nursing staff during exams and procedures.
• Administer immunizations and medications as directed; collect specimens.
• Schedule appointments, process referrals and prior authorizations, and register patients.
• Provide patient-centered care and exceptional customer service.
