Job summary

Infor is seeking a Clinical/Administrative Assistant (Medical Assistant or LPN) to support providers in a busy Michigan clinic. Under direct supervision, you will greet patients, take vitals, collect histories, prepare for examinations, and help maintain smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include accurate EMR documentation, answering calls, scheduling, patient registration, referrals and prior authorizations, and proper specimen labeling.

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Commiserate combination of education and experience as deemed appropriate by HR.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, escort to exam room and prepare for examinations.
• Obtain and record vital signs, height/weight, and medical history.
• Document information accurately in the EMR and route records as needed.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with registration.
• Process referrals and prior authorizations; assist provider as directed.
• Prepare specimens, label correctly, and assist with procedures.
