Job summary

Qualifications

• Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Must hold CMA/MA or LPN credential or an equivalent education/experience combination.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to exam rooms and maintain patient flow.
• Obtain and record vital signs, height and weight; document medical histories.
• Document all information in the EMR and send records as needed.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures; assist providers as directed.
• Collect specimens and properly label; administer immunizations per provider.
• Schedule appointments; process referrals and prior authorizations; register patients.
