Women’s Care in Orlando is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide professional clinical support during visits. You will prepare patients, assist providers during procedures, and help with room setup, sterilization, and specimen collection.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and EMR data entry is essential. The role emphasizes patient education, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced OB/GYN/primary care setting.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MA certification preferred OR obtainable within 120 days in FL.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or served as a Medical Technician in the Armed Forces with honorable discharge.
• CPR and/or BLS certification preferred or obtainable within 30 days.

Mansioni

• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during treatment, procedures, examinations, and testing.
• Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms, procedure rooms, lab area and patient care spaces.
• Record patients' medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaint.
• Measure and document vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections and other specimen collection when directed.
• Educate patients with information and instructions from the provider.
• Maintain safe, compliant work environment following standards and legal regulations.
• Relay messages between patients, front office staff and providers.
• Represent the office professionally and treat all customers with courtesy.
• Participate in team activities and required meetings.
• Demonstrate Women’s Care mission and values.
• Comply with HIPAA rules and guidelines.
