University of California - San Diego Medical Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant for the OB/GYN department. Under supervision, you will support physicians, room patients for visits, take vital signs, assist during examinations as a chaperone, and handle intake and documentation tasks.

Front and back-office duties may be required to maintain efficient clinic workflow. Required CMA or MA training program certificate, 2+ years of MA experience, and BART/BLS at hire with commitment to obtain BART

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or completion certificate of a Medical Assistant training program.
• Knowledge of patient care, environmental care, equipment/supply management, and cleaning/disinfecting environments.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritize, and work in a team.
• Familiarity with online scheduling and universal precautions.
