Job summary

Almara Women's Health, an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), in Edina, MN, seeks a Medical Assistant to support OB/GYN services across life stages. This full-time role requires clinical skills and reliable attendance.

You will perform vitals, venipuncture, in-house tests, specimen handling, and assist clinicians; X-ray license preferred. Provide patient instructions and ensure accurate charting. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Medical Assistant Program or MLT program.
• AAMA or AMT certification; willing to become certified if not currently certified.
• 1+ years' Medical Assistant experience in a clinic setting.
• Willing to train a Medical Assistant that has completed externship.
• X-ray license or willingness to obtain limited scope x-ray license for Bone Density scans, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient information and medical history.
• Measure vital signs and document in chart.
• Obtain blood specimens via venipuncture or finger sticks.
• Perform in-house tests (UA, Hemoglobin, glucose tests).
• Assist physician and nurse practitioner in exam rooms.
• Provide patient instructions as directed by clinician.
• Ensure all reports and labs are filed in medical records.
• Maintain exam rooms and medical supplies.

Education

Medical Assistant Program or MLT program
