Southwest Contemporary Women's Care is seekingMedical Assistants for a full-time Back Office role in Chandler, AZ. The team focuses on OB/Gyn patient care with a friendly, professional atmosphere. Expect patient-focused service, adherence to OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA, and ongoing growth opportunities.

Starting pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, uniforms, PTO and paid holidays. Hours are 8-5 Mon-Thu and 7:30-2:30 on Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience required.
• Two years Medical Assistant experience with OB/Gyn preferred.
• Managed care and CPT coding knowledge/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and initiate visits per physician preference.
• Obtain vitals and complete meaningful use measures.
• Assist providers during exams and document procedures accurately.
• Handle patient calls, provide information, and relay messages as needed.
• Prepare forms for medication authorization and X-ray orders.
• Coordinate EMR tasks and ensure chart accuracy and completeness.
• Restock exam rooms and maintain supplies.
• Adhere to OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
