Desert Sage OB/Gyn is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will provide medical services to patients under the guidance of a physician.

The ideal candidate is a good listener, outgoing, compassionate, organized, adaptable and an excellent problem solver, with strong confidentiality and professionalism in a busy OB/Gyn practice.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant Diploma is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced OB/Gyn setting.
• Previous OB/Gyn experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-care services – room patients, reconcile medical and prescription history.
• Support Physicians – perform minor patient care issues such as immunizations, injections, and assisting with minor surgeries.
• Other duties: answer phones, take messages, report test results and respond to patient care issues with the physician.

Currently we are open Monday - Thursday with work hours from 7:30am - 5:30pm. Yes, 10 hour days, allowing for a four day work week and every weekend is a 3 day weekend. The benefits are amazing.
