Job summary

HonorHealth in Gilbert, AZ is hiring a Medical Assistant for the OB/GYN-Gilbert clinic. The role provides both front and back office support, escorts patients, maintains exam rooms, and assists clinicians with exams and procedures. Day shift, in-person at MOB-Gilbert.

The position requires MA training, a high school diploma or GED, BLS, and a fingerprint clearance card. Certification as CMA/CCMA/RMA is preferred; one year of MA experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• MA certification preferred (CMA/CCMA/RMA).

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Obtain vital signs and patient history; assist physician during exams.
• Perform front and back office tasks including scheduling, phone calls, and chart management.
• Conduct basic clinical procedures as directed (phlebotomy, injections, EKG, TB testing).
• Maintain medical records and communicate with insurance for authorizations.
