Job summary

Evolving Solution Services seeks a Medical Assistant for a full-time role in Sun City West, AZ, working in both front and back office in a busy clinic.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of MA experience, an MA certificate, and EMR experience (Athena a plus). Responsibilities include blood draws, injections, scheduling, and patient intake for a fast-paced environment.

OB/GYN exposure is preferred; salary ranges are commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• MA Certificate required.
• Experience with EMR systems; Athena knowledge a plus.
• Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct blood draws, non-stress tests, injections and vitals.
• Assist in procedural set-ups such as Amniocentesis, Cerclage Removal, CVS.
• Schedule surgeries with local hospitals and verify times with patients and providers.
• Respond to portal messages between patient and provider.
• Patient intake and vitals; chart preparation and exam room setup.
• Register, schedule, confirm appointments; collect co-pays and past due balances.
