Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year MA experience in medical office/clinic with direct patient care.
• Graduate of MA training program with hands-on patient experience.
• Clinical competency assessment and MA orientation required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and document patient history.
• Reconcile medications and reconcile patient records.
• Manage EPIC EMR and schedule appointments.
• Process medication requests and prior authorizations.
• Coordinate tests and procedures; support providers.
• May perform EKGs, lab tests, injections, and phlebotomy after competency.
