Healing Strides Counseling in Muncie, IN is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support clinical providers and front office operations. Schedule: Mon-Thu 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Fri 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

You will room patients, manage messages and documents, and assist with intake and exam room setup. The role requires a CMA/CCMA/RMA or related certification, completion of a Medical Assistant program, and familiarity with OSHA/CLIA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program.
• Current certification in medical assisting (CMA/CCMA/RMA/NCMA/CMAC).
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding required.
• TB validation preferred or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and support providers during clinic visits.
• Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with both clinical and administrative duties.
• Rooming patients and completing intake.
• Assisting providers with patient care.
• Managing patient messages and records.
• Scanning and maintaining medical records.
• Prepare exam rooms and support clinic workflow.
