Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 45 days of hire.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for exams; document vital signs and health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries (e.g., pelvic exams, EMG, colposcopy).
• Administer medications under provider orders; manage IV therapy within scope.
• Provide patient education and coordinate referrals and follow-ups.
• Document patient status and communicate with health care team.
• Perform advanced clinical tasks under supervision (e.g., sutures, catheterization, EKG).
• Maintain and organize exam rooms, labs, and equipment; stock supplies.
