Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for the OBGYN: Arboretum clinic. You will support patient care across exam rooms, labs, and procedures, under physician supervision. Prior nursing education and an active LPN license with BLS are required.

The role is full-time, M-F 8-5 with potential variability. Benefits eligible, with base compensation within the posted pay range and opportunities for shift pay and annual increases.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) with patients and team members.
• Strong organization and prioritization abilities.
• Proficient computer skills and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients, document health information and vitals.
• Perform basic lab procedures and specimen collection.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries.
• Administer medications under orders; manage IV therapy as allowed.
• Educate patients and coordinate referrals and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with care team and document patient status.
