Top Dog Recruiting is partnering with a Northwest Indiana healthcare provider to recruit a Laborist for Munster, IN. This full-time in-patient role offers a premier, tech-forward environment and generous compensation within a well-established facility.
The position features a $320,000–$400,000 annual salary, relocation support, and a schedule aligned with hospitalist rotations. Board certification in OB/GYN and Indiana licensure are required; EPIC EMR is used with AI-assisted documentation.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Indiana Medical License or eligibility and CSR/DEA registration.
- Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
- Strong communication and EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient obstetric and gynecological care, including managing active labor, routine deliveries, and emergency operative procedures (e.g., C-sections).
- Work a predictable schedule of 144 hours per month (1,728 per year).
- Manage phone availability aligned with hospitalist shifts.
- Utilize EPIC EMR with AI features to streamline docs, tracking, and workflows.
- Serve as in-house clinical leader for obstetric emergencies and admissions.
- Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine, pediatrics, and APP staff.
