Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks an accomplished physician leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The chair provides strategic vision, accountability, and clinical leadership across OB/GYN services, working with service line leadership to advance quality, growth, education and research. The role supports graduate medical education, regional program development, and collaboration across campuses, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and physician

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed ACGME OB/GYN residency and subspecialty training as applicable.
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology with applicable subspecialty.
• Experience in an administrative clinical leadership-level position and ongoing clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for clinical quality, patient safety, outcomes, and performance improvement across the OB/GYN service line.
• Provide strategic and clinical oversight across Obstetrics, Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and related women’s health programs.
• Partner with service line leaders to champion regional growth and program development for access, capabilities and market position.
• Foster collaboration across campuses, divisions, and physician groups.
• Support graduate medical education and research, including OB/GYN residency growth and potential fellowships.
• Provide leadership for new growth initiatives such as an OB Hospitalist program and Gynecology expansion.
