St. Luke’s University Health Network in Eastern Pennsylvania seeks an accomplished physician leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The Chair will provide strategic vision, clinical leadership, and accountability across the OB/GYN service line, focusing on clinical excellence, quality, growth, education and research. The role collaborates with service line leaders to expand access, strengthen capabilities, and advance the service line’s market position, while

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology corresponding sub-specialty as applicable.
• Experience in an administrative clinical leadership-level position and strong clinical background with ongoing clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for clinical quality, patient safety, outcomes, and performance improvement across the OB/GYN service line.
• Provide strategic and clinical oversight across Obstetrics, Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, and related women’s health programs.
• Partner with service line leaders to champion regional growth and program development strategies that expand access, strengthen clinical capabilities, and advance the service line’s market position.
• Foster collaboration across multiple campuses, divisions, and physician groups.
• Support graduate medical education, research, including continued growth of the OB/GYN residency and potential future fellowship programs.
• Provide strategic leadership for the continued development of new programmatic growth initiatives such as an OB Hospitalist program and further development of the Gynecology division.
• Develop physician leaders and strengthen departmental engagement and culture.

Education
