Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks an accomplished physician leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The Chair will set strategic direction, lead clinical quality and education efforts, and collaborate across campuses to advance program development and patient care.

The role emphasizes academic leadership, GME support, research growth, and a strong commitment to patient outcomes in a large regional health system.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Experience in an administrative clinical leadership-level position with ongoing clinical practice.

Responsibilities

Set the strategic direction for clinical quality, patient safety, outcomes, and performance improvement across the OB/GYN service line.
Provide strategic and clinical oversight across Obstetrics, Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, and related women’s health programs.
Partner with service line leaders to champion regional growth and program development strategies that expand access, strengthen clinical capabilities, and advance the service line’s market position.
Foster collaboration across multiple campuses, divisions, and physician groups.
Support graduate medical education and research, including growth of the OB/GYN residency and potential future fellowship programs.
Provide strategic leadership for new programmatic growth initiatives such as an OB Hospitalist program and gynecology division development.
Develop physician leaders and strengthen departmental engagement and culture.
