Job summary

University of Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Director of Research - Clinical Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership for OB/GYN research programs. You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure GCP compliance, and supervise clinical research staff across the trial portfolio.

Responsibilities include start-up, activation, enrollment oversight, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with investigators, IDS, and departments to improve study quality, efficiency, and participant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience equal to 6 years.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
• Experience leading or supervising clinical or research staff.
• Experience in clinical research coordination and trial management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and implementation of assigned trials.
• Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants with PI teams.
• Ensure accurate source documentation and EMR entries for visits.
• Monitor adverse events, deviations, and protocol compliance per timelines.
• Lead study start-up and activation, regulatory submissions, and staffing planning.
• Supervise and mentor research staff; develop workflows and KPIs.
