Job summary

The University of Minnesota is seeking a Research Professional 2 – Clinical Research Coordinator-RN to coordinate interventional clinical trials in Gynecologic Oncology. You will work with investigators, providers, staff, patients, and sponsors to manage activities from start-up to closeout, including recruitment, consent, scheduling, and nursing procedures.

Responsibilities span recruitment, procedures, sponsor visits, and overall trial coordination.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus at least two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least six years.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, Screening & Enrollment – identify, screen, and enroll eligible study participants with PI and study team guidance.
• Clinical Research Procedures – perform nursing assessments and nursing procedures within RN scope, administer study medications, and monitor participant safety.
• Sponsor & Monitoring Visits – participate in site initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits, ensure documentation readiness.
• Study Coordination – coordinate with departments, track activities, maintain study documentation and data, support study startups and staff training.
• Communication & Teamwork – collaborate with investigators, clinical staff, sponsors, and patients, provide timely updates and mentorship.
