Job summary

WomanCare Centers in Norfolk, VA seeks a Clinical Manager to oversee daily clinical operations and lead a high-performing team. You will supervise staff, ensure patient-centered care, and maintain safety and compliance across the practice.

You will collaborate with providers, manage workflows, and support EMR usage (Athena) while ensuring equipment readiness and efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Must be an RN, LPN, or CMA with at least 3 years of OB/GYN clinical experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Athena EMR and basic office software (Word/Excel).
• Ability to supervise and train clinical staff and coordinate with providers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support all clinical staff including nurses and medical assistants.
• Train and onboard new employees; provide ongoing education.
• Evaluate staff performance and conduct reviews with leadership.
• Monitor attendance and schedule adjustments to ensure coverage.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Coordinate pre/post-procedure workflows and patient follow-up.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and safety protocols.
• Manage EMR workflows and inbox/delegation in Athena.
