Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking an OB Director (RN) in Hancock, MI to lead Labor & Delivery and OB services in a Level I Maternal Care setting. You will oversee clinical care, quality outcomes, patient flow, and staff development while ensuring departmental operations meet standards.

The role requires a Michigan RN license, L&D experience, and active participation in accreditation and Joint Commission requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current Michigan RN license is required.
• Labor and Delivery experience is required.
• BLS-HCP is required.
• NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, and STABLE must be current or obtained within 1 year.
• Annual influenza vaccination or declination is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead OB team focused on quality outcomes and family-centered maternal and newborn care.
• Provide and coordinate care of OB patients using the nursing process.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting delivery of clinical services.
• Coordinate staff scheduling and employee education and development activities.
• Conduct and coordinate performance evaluations and ensure policy compliance.
