The role involves fabricating, assembling, and customizing orthotic and prosthetic devices using hand and power tools in a medical device setting. Training is provided; no prior orthotics experience is required.

The position is full-time, temp-to-hire, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, with opportunities to transition into a permanent role.

Qualifications

• No prior orthotics or prosthetics experience required; training provided.
• Day shift with 7:30 AM–4:00 PM schedule; weekends not required.
• Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, modify, assemble, and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
• Measure, cut, shape, and finish materials to specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality and durability.
• Troubleshoot fabrication challenges.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Learn new fabrication techniques on the job.
