Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking an Associate Fabricator to fabricate orthotic and prosthetic devices, ensuring maximum fit, function, cosmetics and workmanship.

On-the-job training and formal O&P training will be provided, with emphasis on maintaining tools, equipment, materials and following device-specific work instructions. The role requires basic fabrication skills, a cautious approach to safety, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; no experience required.
• Preferred: less than 1 year of related experience working with machinery, tools, wood working, design, fabrication, componentry, etc.
• Without diploma/GED, 1 year of related experience in O&P environments with machinery, tools, design, fabrication, componentry, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices, according to Company quality and quantity standards.
• May assist or perform in ordering and receiving and other inventory tasks as assigned.
• Maintain 5s to ensure for a safe, clean and orderly work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Adhere to all HIPPA and other regulatory compliance training issued by Hanger, Inc.
