Job summary

NovaCare Prosthetics and Orthotics in Menasha, WI is seeking an Orthotic and Prosthetic Fabrication Technician. Full-time, 8 am-4:30 pm, starting at $17/hour. You will fabricate and repair devices, manage materials, and uphold quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of fabrication experience in orthotics/prosthetics, strong technical ability, attention to detail, and good communication skills. Employer emphasizes compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• At least 1 year of fabrication experience in prosthetics and orthotics.
• Ability to fabricate and repair devices per standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates and repairs orthotic and/or prosthetic devices.
• Performs fabrication processes according to quality standards.
• Orders materials and maintains inventory for fabrication.
• Assists technicians and trainees and monitors quality.
• Maintains a safe, clean and orderly work environment.
• Adheres to safety regulations and Medicare/OSHA requirements.
• Analyzes reports and correspondence and interprets their meaning.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
