Job summary

CONSOLIDATED ASSET MANAGEMENT SERVICES JUNIPER (TEXAS), LLC seeks an O&M Technician II to ensure safe, reliable operation of the Tilton Energy Center’s gas-fired systems in IL. You will monitor plants, respond to alarms, perform startup/shutdowns, and support maintenance of instruments, control systems, and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities include data logging, preventive maintenance, documentation, inventory management, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Must have 2+ years as an Assistant Plant Operator or equivalent in a power generation facility.
• Must complete O&M Technician qualification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate gas-fired turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems, including start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Monitor and record operational data to maintain safe performance within limits.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on major equipment and emergency backup systems.
• Maintain equipment files, logs, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Manage spare parts inventory and assist with physical counts.
• Update plant manuals and maintenance records.
• Safely operate plant equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams under supervision.
• Complete maintenance, outage, time, and material documentation.
• Support plant management with additional tasks as needed.
