Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis, TN is seeking an Apprentice Maintenance worker to perform service and basic repairs alongside the Sr. O&M Specialist on building systems.

You will assist with work orders for preventive maintenance and repairs at an apprentice level, ensuring timely, quality outcomes. Education requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years general maintenance experience, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a DOT background check.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of trade fundamentals and ability to perform basic service and repairs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and write and communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to work from drawings, diagrams, sketches and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing and overseeing work orders for preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems at apprentice level.
• Determine the nature of the problem and ensure repairs are completed in a timely and quality manner.
