Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Health in Memphis is seeking an experienced O&M Specialist II to perform and supervise complex preventative maintenance on building systems. You will diagnose problems, ensure timely repairs, and maintain equipment essential to patient care in a large hospital environment.

The role requires a technical degree or diploma, 1–3 years in O&M, 5–7 years in operations and maintenance, and valid state drivers licenses; journeyman licensure is preferred in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma required; HS diploma preferred.
• 1–3 years O&M Specialist II experience; 5–7 years operations/maintenance.
• Valid driver's license; journeyman Tennessee preferred; other state licenses desired.

Responsibilities

• Performs and oversees work orders for complex preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems at a journeyman's level.
• Determines the nature of the problem and ensures that repairs at a journeyman's level are completed in a timely and quality manner.
• Performs and guides the maintenance of machinery incidental to system operations at a journeyman's level of expertise.
