Job summary

Clean Energy Services seeks a highly capable O&M Lead Technician for large battery energy storage facilities. You will act as the primary on-site operator representative, executing long-term O&M obligations with significant autonomy and accountability.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical environments, MV experience, and strong troubleshooting. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, manage spare parts, ensure NERC/compliance readiness, and produce detailed reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on electrical experience in utility-scale power generation or MV environments.
• Experience with MV (5kV–35kV) systems and switching practices.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams, protection schematics, and OEM manuals.
• Willingness to work outdoors in industrial environments and travel as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance per yearly service plan.
• Respond to site emergencies and system events within contract times.
• Perform switching, troubleshoot MV systems, and coordinate with utility partners.
• Maintain logs, documentation, and operational reporting for compliance.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement with customer.
• Produce detailed service reports and support warranty/claims processes.
• Adhere to LOTO, HSSE safety protocols, and environmental requirements.
• Support training and certifications for on-site staff.
