Job summary

J.P. Morgan Securities is seeking an Associate NYSE Floor Broker to join its equities trading team on the NYSE floor at 11 Wall Street, Lower Manhattan.

The role is execution-oriented, partnering with the trading desk and coordinating with electronic execution capabilities and the ECS platform for algorithmic and low-latency trading. It requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and comfort operating across high-touch and low-touch workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years equities experience or equivalent, including at the NYSE or in Algorithmic Trading/Smart Order Routing.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify liquidity trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to work well under pressure and make sensible decisions by considering the risk factors involved.
• Comprehensive understanding of equities execution products, market structure, and the regulatory landscape.
• Ability to interact confidently and professionally with clients.
• Series 19 (NYSE Brokers Exam), 57, 7, and 63 registrations or willing to obtain within the first 90 days of joining the firm

Responsibilities

• Navigate NYSE Broker Systems for high-touch and low-touch trading, client routing, and risk management
• Work closely with trading team to meet client needs regarding trade execution and support
• Host clients on the NYSE trading floor during market hours
• Coordinate between floor execution and electronic workflows for algorithmic execution
• Produce analysis of product usage, client trends, trading performance, and revenues
• Maintain knowledge of equities trading, market structure, and regulatory landscape
• Maintain internal data, documents, and CRM applications
