Job summary

NTC Language Services is seeking reliable In-Person Educational Interpreters for Uzbek in NYC. These part-time, as-needed roles require travel to assignments in NYC and provide interpretation between English and Uzbek in school settings.

Candidates should communicate professionally and maintain confidentiality; experience in education is preferred but not required. We offer flexible scheduling and opportunities to support students and families through effective communication.

Qualifications

• Be able to read, write, and speak proficiently in both English and Uzbek.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Maintain neutrality and confidentiality in all matters.

Responsibilities

• Interpret accurately and completely between English and Uzbek.
• Preserve tone and intent of the communication.
• Attend assigned in-person interpretation sessions at schools and events.
• Collaborate professionally with families, students, and school staff.
