NTC Language Services is seeking reliable and professional English/Urdu Educational Interpreters for part-time, as-needed employment in Western Suffolk County, NY. A specific number of assignments or weekly hours is not guaranteed.

Interpreters will provide in-person interpretation services in Western Suffolk County, New York. Educational Interpreters facilitate clear, accurate, and culturally responsive communication among students, families, educators, administrators, and other school

Qualifications

• Be able to read, write, and speak proficiently in both English and Urdu.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Maintain neutrality and confidentiality in school settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate in-person interpretation for parent-teacher conferences, CSE/CPSE meetings, and student events.
• Interpret clearly between English and Urdu, preserving meaning and tone.
• Arrive on time, travel to assignments in Western Suffolk County, NY, and follow district policies.
