Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in New York is seeking an experienced civil litigator to lead plaintiff-side wage and hour class actions and other complex employment matters. The role offers substantial case ownership, merit-based increases, and a clear path toward partnership as the firm expands.

The ideal candidate brings 5–10+ years of civil litigation, strong discovery and motion practice, and the ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters with deadlines.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience handling class actions, complex litigation and wage and hour matters.
• Strong background in discovery and motion practice.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Strong oral advocacy and court-appearance experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff-side wage and hour class actions and related complex employment matters.
• Litigate cases in New York state and federal courts.
• Develop and execute litigation and discovery strategy.
• Draft and argue dispositive, discovery and other substantive motions.
• Conduct written discovery and manage meet-and-confer processes.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court conferences, hearings and other proceedings.
• Coordinate deadlines, case strategy and workstreams across multiple active matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case planning, budgeting and resolution strategy.
• Oversee case teams and delegate work where appropriate.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support their professional development.
