Job summary

Pine Management, Inc. on the Upper West Side of Manhattan seeks an experienced Property & Asset Manager to oversee 36 NYC multifamily properties and drive performance across leasing, operations, and financial reporting.

The candidate will manage building staff, ensure compliance with city agencies, develop asset strategies, budgets, and KPI reporting; strong knowledge of building systems, finance, law, and accounting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in real estate, finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of NYC multifamily real estate experience in property and asset management.
• Strong knowledge of real estate principles, finance, law, and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and leadership of all aspects of building management, including leasing, move-in/move-out inspections, maintenance, code compliance, site administration, tenant relations, and reporting.
• Supervision and coordination of building staff and procurement of materials/equipment.
• Implementing staff policies, conducting semi-annual performance reviews, hiring/training.
• Ensuring proper operation of building equipment and systems and compliance with city agencies.
• Managing tenant service requests and apartment turnover; timely reporting of property status.
• Contracting for and supervising vendor services; processing accounts payable.
• On-call emergency duties will be required.
• Create and execute asset level strategies; oversee leasing, construction, operations, financing, and financial reporting.
• Prepare budgets, KPIs, and reports; monitor performance against projections.
