Job summary

City of New York is seeking a Product Manager to define and deliver digital products for New Yorkers, guiding software development from conception to launch. You will work with program owners and cross-functional teams to plan strategy, roadmaps, and outcomes that improve government services.

The role requires coordinating with UX, engineering, and program stakeholders to prioritize features, monitor KPIs, and ensure value delivery to residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of satisfactory full-time experience; or
• An associate degree and six years of satisfactory full-time experience; or
• A bachelor's degree and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience; or
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the above.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and product roadmap for NYC digital products and manage lifecycle from conception to launch.
• Synthesize research and analytics to define problems, prioritize features and measure outcomes.
• Collaborate with program owners, UX and engineering to deliver software that meets user needs.

Education

Baccalaureate degree + 4 years experience

Associate degree + 6 years experience

Baccalaureate degree + 8 years experience

Education/experience equivalent to 1-3
