Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Minimum of two years of claims management experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing NY Lost-Time claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within service expectations.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and providing directions as needed.
