Job summary

Ryan Herco Flow Solutions, a SunSource company, is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to manage a New York metro territory and drive growth in fluid control and handling products. You will develop key customer relationships, identify new prospects, and provide product guidance and training to customers.

The role requires a 4-year degree or equivalent experience, 1+ years of field sales, and strong communication skills. A valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of field/outside sales and account management experience.
• Experience in industrial sales and fluid handling is preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lead and coordinate a sales team
• Organized, detail oriented, quick learner
• Ability to facilitate training sessions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Basic mathematics aptitude (decimals, fractions, algebra)
• Mechanical aptitude
• MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) proficiency

Responsibilities

• Solidify and grow relationships with key customers.
• Identify and develop new prospects from referrals and sources.
• Update customers on products/applications and provide training.
• Prepare and submit a weekly sales call plan (min 5 calls/day).
• Document customer contact and sales activities in ACS (min 3/week).
• Coordinate territory sales strategy with Inside Sales and RSM.
• Continuously improve product and market knowledge.
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
