Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer IV in Greenville, SC to lead CNC programming and process development for large-scale, high-precision machining environments. The role emphasizes safety, quality, cost, and delivery improvements within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have extensive NX CAM experience, 5-axis programming skills, and a strong machinist background to set up and prove first-piece programs while supporting production and equipment startups.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of CNC programming experience with graphical CAM systems.
• Experience with Siemens NX CAM preferred.
• Experience creating complex 5-axis programs.
• Strong machinist background and ability to prove first-piece programs.
• Experience with large-format equipment such as VTLs/VBMs up to 2.5 meters.
• HDGT or Aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, generate, and maintain CNC programs using NX CAM.
• Support programming and process development for large VTLs, VBMs, gantry 5-axis machines, and vertical multi-purpose turn/grind equipment.
• Verify CNC programs prior to shop floor release using Vericut or equivalent simulation software.
• Implement and support Renishaw probing cycles for part validation and process control.
• Train machine operators during new equipment startup, machine rebuilds, and process improvements.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction.
