ASM Tech Solutions in Morganton, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in CNC machining and CAM programming to join our on-site team. You will develop and optimize high-quality machining processes for low- to high-volume parts, delivering efficiency and cost effectiveness across our 30,000 sq ft facility.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with CNC programming and machine set-up.
Highly proficient in CAM programming.
Strong knowledge of standard and custom tooling.
Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement efficient, high-quality CNC machining processes across a 30,000 sq. ft. production facility
Manage current and new projects while continuously assessing processes for continuous improvement opportunities
Utilize and help innovate quick-change workholding techniques to reduce spindle downtime
Mentor team members to help develop and improve their CNC manufacturing skills
Ensure all work complies with our ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards, including PPAPs, FAIs, sampling plans, and dimensional inspection requirements
