Job summary
Micron Technology is seeking a test validation engineer to design and develop test plans, cases, and scripts for NVMe SSD products. You will collaborate with Architecture, Design, Hardware, and Firmware teams to validate tests, triage failures, and drive issues to resolution.
The role requires strong test design skills, experience with Linux environments, and knowledge of storage features like RAID and filesystems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, or related field with 5 years of experience
- Knowledge of NVMe SSDs and validation methodologies
- Experience with test automation and embedded Linux environments
- Familiarity with RAID and filesystem-based storage systems
Responsibilities
- Design and develop test plans, cases, and scripts for NVMe SSD validation
- Work with Architecture, Design, Hardware and Firmware teams to validate tests
- Triage failures, drive resolution, and improve coverage across products
- Plan test schedules aligned with project scope and delivery dates
- Communicate program status and key indicators clearly
