Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer for SSD Validation in Longmont, Colorado. You will lead end-to-end system-level validation, qualification, and joint qualification with customers, coordinating firmware, hardware, and software teams to ensure robust production readiness.

The role emphasizes automation, test framework development in Python, and deep NVMe/PCIe knowledge to improve quality and efficiency across Enterprise/Datacenter SSD products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of SSD, storage, or semiconductor validation with NVMe/PCIe knowledge.
• Hands-on Linux experience, OS bring-up, drive triage, root-cause analysis.
• Experience in Enterprise/Datacenter SSD firmware validation and JQ.

Responsabilités

• Lead system-level validation and qualification across SSDs, firmware, drivers, OS, and platforms.
• Direct validation test plans from development through completion with failure analysis.
• Hands-on system bring-up, OS installation, driver validation, storage-stack verification.
• Develop automated test frameworks and Python-based tools; drive shift-left validation.
