Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Longmont, Colorado seeks a Staff Validation Engineer to design and develop test plans, test cases and scripts to validate Enterprise and Datacenter NVMe SSD products.

You will collaborate with Architecture, Design, Hardware and Firmware teams to build and run validation tests, triage failures and drive them to resolution. The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics/communications engineering or related field with 5 years' experience, strong

Qualifications

• Test design and test case development experience.
• Experience with test configuration setup and executing tests.
• Proficiency in using protocol analyzers and scripting to automate tests.
• Familiarity with routing and Ethernet protocols.
• Automation experience in Linux environments and storage products (RAID).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test plans, test cases and scripts for NVMe SSDs.
• Work with Architecture, Design, Hardware and Firmware teams to execute tests and triage failures.
• Analyze requirements and specifications to ensure end-to-end coverage.
• Instrument new validation approaches and drive coverage improvements.
