• Knowledge of patient nourishment planning and dietary guidelines is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide care appropriate to patients' age and needs.
• Schedule staff to meet department needs and budgeted hours.
• Implement cost controls while maintaining quality service.
• Hire, orient, train, develop, evaluate and, when needed, discipline staff.
• Lead staff meetings and in-service trainings; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in budgeting, planning and achieving department goals.
